Committed to exploring the connection between our actions and the health of the ocean, Ocean Futures Society recognizes these priorities:

• Clean Water, the essence of life and a birthright for everyone, must become available to all people now.
• Coastal Marine Habitats, coral reefs, estuaries and wetlands, must receive protection in order to assure the ocean’s quality of life and thus our own.
• Marine Mammals, our biological counterparts in the sea, must be protected from human impact.
• Sustainable Fisheries must be created to reflect our ability to manage natural resources wisely.
