3D Entertainment

Jean-Michel Cousteau's alliance with 3D Entertainment began in late 2004 as the company's filmmakers Jean-Jacques and Francois Mantello were working on their second 3D documentary, "Sharks 3D". Jean-Michel was greatly impressed by the film and the 3D medium, and along with Ocean Futures Society, he accepted to become the official ambassador and special advisor on 3D Entertainment's IMAX theatre film trilogy ("Ocean Wonderland", "Sharks 3D" and "Dolphins and Whales 3D"), as well as for the feature-length film, "OceanWorld 3D" to be released in North America soon by the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and its Disneynature label. Jean-Michel Cousteau and Ocean Futures Society have also closely collaborated with the filmmakers on the various film scripts and assisted in the design and production of all educational outreach programs.
